Vini Brojli Winery has developed in the historical and cultural context of the territories of Aquileia, where viticulture has a millennial history. Fertile lands, abundant, genuine products, which we have been cultivating for three generations respecting our Mother Earth.
Brojli derives from “brogjilos” which were, for the ancient Celtic-origin populations of our lands, small plots of land near the house cultivated with vines, where the ancient Romans produced wine for the nobles of Aquileia.
A growing winery, a large sales outlet in Aquileia with a view of the Patriarchal Basilica, the possibility to taste the wines and visit the winery, hospitality and traditional peasant reception combined with respect for traditions are the characteristics of our company.
All our DOC wines are young, fresh, obtained from grapes produced in our vineyards according to the integrated fight regulations (SPQNI): we work with commitment and passion 14 hectares of vineyard in the DOC Friuli Aquileia, where clay-sandy soils, sea breeze and a mild climate give the grapes and consequently the wines, very pleasant aromas and a typical elegance that distinguishes them.
We produce 13 wines including whites, reds and sparkling wines that we like to define as “noble in their simplicity”.
A “sustainable” company all around.
Environmental sustainability, with respect for the land without the use of chemical herbicides; the use of clean energy in the winery thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic system with storage batteries; we promote the reuse of cardboard from our packaging and more.
But also social sustainability, thanks to the numerous socio-cultural projects that we organize and promote: during the “La Biblioteca di Brojli” event under the velarium of the winery, we present every year various books by local and international authors, with poetry and music meetings; with the “Raggi di Vite” project in collaboration with the Fondazione Radio Magica, we support activities for children with special needs through the sale of “Radioso” wine.
Collaboration, cooperation and synergy with other agricultural companies in the territory are fundamental for us both for development and for promoting the entire sector: we adhere to the Wine and Flavours Road FVG, to the Wine Tourism Movement and to the “Mar e Tiaris” project.
