The early Christian remains of the Basilica della Corte, dating back to the 4th century, were unearthed in 1902 during the restoration works of Piazza Biagio Marin, in the heart of Grado’s historic centre. Today, it is possible to admire sections of mosaic flooring finely decorated with geometric patterns and names, along with some sarcophagi and the walls that outlined the structure of the ancient building.
