The Vini Brojli farm has developed within the historical and cultural context of the Aquileia territories, where viticulture has a millenary history. Fertile lands, abundant, genuine products, which we have cultivated for three generations in respect of our Mother Earth.
Brojli derives from the “brogjilos,” which were, for the ancient Celtic populations of our lands, small plots of land near home cultivated with vines, where the ancient Romans produced wine for the nobles of Aquileia.
A growing winery, a large sales point in Aquileia with a view of the Patriarchal Basilica, the possibility to taste wines and visit the cellar, hospitality and traditional rural welcome combined with respect for traditions are the characteristics of our company.
All our DOC wines are young, fresh, obtained from grapes produced in our vineyards according to the integrated pest management protocol (SPQNI): we work with commitment and passion on 14 hectares of vineyard in the DOC Friuli Aquileia, where the clay-sandy soils, sea breeze, and mild climate give the grapes and consequently the wines delightful aromas and a typical elegance that distinguishes them.
We produce 13 wines among whites, reds, and sparkling wines which we like to define as “noble in their simplicity.”
A “sustainable” company in every respect.
Environmental sustainability, respecting the land without using chemical herbicides; using clean energy in the cellar thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic system with storage batteries; we encourage the reuse of cardboard from our packaging and more.
But also social sustainability through the numerous socio-cultural projects we organise and promote: during the “La Biblioteca di Brojli” series under the velarium of the cellar, we annually present various books by local and international authors, with poetry and music events; with the “Raggi di Vite” project in collaboration with the Radio Magica Foundation, we support activities for children with special needs through the sale of “Radioso” wine.
Collaboration, cooperation, and synergy with other farms in the area are fundamental for us both for development and for promoting the entire sector: we adhere to the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori FVG, Movimento Turismo del Vino, and the “Mar e Tiaris” project.
